This beauty was inspired by the Japanese wooden kokeshi dolls that are much loved and collected. Kokeshi are believed to bring prosperity, peace and a sense of safety to the homes that they occupy.

Each and every piece of my pottery is made and finished entirely by hand. Handmade pieces will all have slight variations in color and design so will definitely be one of a kind. Measurements will vary slightly as well the intensity and layering of colors. As with all handmade pieces there will be slight imperfections that are characteristic of a hand crafted item, they will not affect the function of the piece so I hope you’ll see it as a personal mark of the maker, me!
