Growing up in Hawai’i this lullaby by Nona Beamer was always one of the first ones we learned, its lyrics evoke a time when life was as simple as the joy of finding little shells by the water.
This low ceramic bowl is made from a stoneware clay and thrown on the wheel. It’s been hand painted with multiple underglazes and high fired with food safe glazes. It is microwave and dishwasher safe altho I recommend hand washing.

Each and every piece of my pottery is made and finished entirely by hand. Handmade pieces will all have slight variations in color and design so will definitely be one of a kind. Measurements will vary slightly as well the intensity and layering of colors.
