This freeform ceramic plate is made from a stoneware clay and created by hand forming the clay. It’s been hand painted with multiple underglaze colors and high fired with food safe glazes. Harlequins are one of my favorite patterns, especially the ones in red & white and while these daruma are by no means fierce they're still considered to be talismans of good luck by some, including me.
This piece is also microwave and dishwasher safe altho I recommend hand washing.

Each and every piece of my pottery is made and finished entirely by hand. Handmade pieces will all have slight variations in color and design so will definitely be one of a kind. Measurements will vary slightly as well the intensity and layering of colors. As with all handmade pieces there will be slight imperfections that are characteristic of a hand crafted item, they will not affect the function of the piece so I hope you’ll see it as a personal mark of the maker, me!
